Thanks for taking the time to check-in with me here.

It's great that you're looking into becoming an elite fitness professional - the world really needs them!

I hope that you will find some valuable information here about what it takes to 'be more' and some precious insights into the industry.

Below is a collection of thoughts, articles, blogs, FAQs in all shapes and sizes.

Yes, we do offer something very different here - as a fitness provider, we don't really fit in - and with good reason. We don't train thousands of people to train to REPs guidelines... we teach a small amount of people to excel and stand out as successful personal trainers. Below, you can read all about my thoughts about the state of the industry as well as how and why you need to push yourself. After all, in order to get more, you need to 'be more'.

The world is currently experiencing near-epidemic levels of type 2 diabetes and obesity and millions more are either unhappy with their current weight, health or fitness. As members of the public do get the help they often need to lose weight, improve their health and get fit, of course, they too expand their goals to perhaps run their first half marathon or sprint triathlon for example.

There are many thousands of people around the world who are injured seeing a physiotherapist or chiropractor who fundamentally need to improve their overall condition to prevent further problems or assist with their rehabilitation. Many people play a good level of sport but their personal fitness places limits of their performance.

My point. Being a successful personal trainer and lifestyle coach is more than just being fit and holding a basic PT certificate. A physiotherapist's credentials because they work with injured people isn't how injured they are or have been but in their ability to fix people and manage their injuries.

In the same way it isn't just a question of how fit you are or even how passionate you feel about fitness that determines your success but your ability to motivate and change behaviour,  your capability around exercise and programme writing and your skills and knowledge in nutrition.

Enjoy reading these brief blog articles. Please consider talking to one of our advisors and above all do get excited about just how amazing and personally rewarding being a really good PT can be but also be mindful not all personal training courses are equal. Being a really successful personal trainer does require you to be exceptional at what you do - like anything.

Good luck
